One of my favourite day trips from Perth is definitely Rottnest Island. This was my second visit. The first time I did a bus tour. This time we decided to book the hop-on/off bus which was a lot more fun as you can get off whenever you want! Unfortunately you can't predict the weather so we were stuck with grey cloudy skies. Our snorkle gear remained unused as it was way too windy and we sticked to hopping on and off to bus to discover some beaches, enjoying the coastline and going around the island! Of course we also tried to get that perfect quokka selfie. The stops we decided to visit: Henrietta Rocks, Porpoise Bay, Parker Point, Little Salmon Bay, Salmon Bay, Cathedral Rocks & Cape Vlamingh, Ricey Beach & Pinky Beach. Loved all of them but Cape Vlamingh is my favourite by far and I hope to be back one day to have a snorkle at Little Salmon Bay!
